00--ABOUT
Total Men's Primary Care is a Texas-based men's healthcare network offering primary care, hormone therapy (Low-T), medical weight loss, and related services across multiple clinic locations, with a tech-forward operating model built in-house.
01--PROBLEM
Total Men's runs a multi-location men's healthcare practice with a rapidly growing patient base and a product/engineering team that's small by design. Every non-trivial operational question — "how many patients did we see at x location this month broken down by service line?", "which providers have what role coverage?" — ended up on the engineering team's desk. That meant the people closest to the patient experience (operators, clinical leadership) couldn't answer their own questions without waiting, and the people who could answer the questions were pulled off the actual product roadmap.
"The operators know exactly what they want to ask. They just couldn't get to the data without me or Andrew writing a query."

Rikin Shah, Chief of Staff
02--SOLUTION
Querio connected directly to Total Men's data and layered a semantic model over the tables that actually matter to the business — team_member_roles, visits, patient cohorts, service-line mix. Operators now ask in natural language and Querio returns the live answer, grounded in the company's own definitions. The product team set up components for the most common recurring questions, so the same report runs itself every week without anyone having to rebuild it.
"We stopped being the reporting team. We got to be a product team again — while the business got faster, not slower."

Rikin, Chief of Staff
03--RESULT
Clinical and operations leadership at Total Men's now pull their own numbers against the database, and the engineering team no longer carries the weight of every ad-hoc report. Decisions about staffing, service mix, and patient follow-up happen in the same meetings where the questions are raised, instead of waiting a week for a pulled report. The combination of direct-to-production access plus semantic context means the team trusts the answers — which is the part that matters most in a healthcare setting.
